Standing on the Side of Love is an interfaith public advocacy campaign that seeks to harness love’s power to stop oppression

 

Welcoming Congregation

The Welcoming Congregation Program is a volunteer program for Unitarian Universalist congregations that want to take intentional steps to become more welcoming and inclusive of people with marginalized sexual orientations and gender identities.

 

Indianapolis Pride Parade

HUUC has marched in the Indianapolis Pride Parade for many years to support LGBTQ rights.

 

Racial Justice

Starting in the spring of of 2015, HUUC has partnered with New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Our goal is to spark conversations and positive change for racial justice in Indianapolis.

 

Gleaners Food Bank

The Social Action Committee coordinates volunteers from our church to help with Gleaners Food Bank in Indianapolis.

 

Meals on Wheels

The Social Action Committee coordinates volunteers from our church to help with Meals on Wheels in Indianapolis.

Guest at Your Table is an annual fundraising and education program that supports UUSC’s (Unitarian Universalist Service Committee) human rights work.”
